Hi, I’m Dauna, just another person with a blog, who wants to write about themselves and comment upon society and the world in general. What makes me different? I’m not that funny, and I tend to write mainly about myself, so… Nothing.
I’m in my twenties, a register slave, female (if you haven’t guessed), overweight (give it up for big girls!), and I live in Texas among the republicans where I feel ostracized. I absolutely hate the electorate college. Every vote should count. Just so you know, I’m an independent, but usually I vote democratic. I liked Bill Clinton. I really disliked Bush. Obama… well, I wasn’t going to vote for McCain. So far I’m not really impressed with his presidency, but it’s early yet, and he can hardly do worse than his predecessor.
My life is rather monotonous. I work, and when I’m not working, my nose is in a book, or my eyes are glued to a screen and you can take your pick as to which type.
