I just thought you deserved an update here. I’ve been updating on my LJ mostly, and this is really a waste of time, but I had to come by and delete some spam anyway. Subsequently there was no writing yesterday, so I am currently trying to reach 30k, and after that I’ll try for 31k if I have [...] This freaked me out a bit, thinking I had a stalker, or someone had tracked me down. Then she concluded with, “Thank you Santa’s Helper,” obviously thinking I hadn’t heard the, “Thank you little elf.” Just seeing that phrase makes me think it’s my name, not a thing you call people! But, she did, and… [...] I made it to the halfway mark last night, but I kept falling asleep so after a thousand words I finally quit. I should be writing now of course. But it’s been so long since I updated here. Work is frantic, never ceasing, trying-to-do-four-things-at-once craziness. Yesterday the old Head Cashier came by to talk to [...] I’m writing, and I shouldn’t have stopped to blog, but it’s coming along so well! Ok, I just reached a point where I don’t know what comes next, but from the initial absolute craziness, I’ve really progressed. I’m not sure the plot is all there yet. It’s still a little iffy to me, but much [...] Or well, you could, but you’d have to come over here and hold a gun to my head. Or something. Procrastination won out tonight. I tell myself I’ll write tomorrow, and I will. Day off. But I’m afraid procrastination will get me then, too. Hopefully not. I can’t fall behind! And I won’t. I am winning [...] I need caffeine. Right now my attempts at writing are putting me to sleep while sitting at my laptop. Yet I can stay awake to write a blog post? So unfair. I’ve managed the minimum, but I want to write more. I want 6k instead of 5. But it’s an early wake up tomorrow and even [...] So is my protagonists(???) current hypothesis. Her other idea is insane, but then she’s seeing the world in turqoise, mauve, and random families of fish who wave at her. Yeah, I wouldn’t listen to Sessilie. She’s currently blaming a book for infecting her. Hey, maybe it’s the next century and a virus from the book’s [...] It’s 10pm, and who has not managed her quota for the day? Oooh! Me! Me!
