You know you’re becoming obsessed with a game when… you suddenly start accumulating friends who only play that game. It takes too long to accept all the gifts, and money, and you have to find all the free offerings on their profiles… And then it’s 2 hours later. Argh!

On the good side looking at all the other layouts have allowed me to see the best methods. Only in a game could you block off ovens and food servers with the result being instantly transporting food!!! Now that’s some high tech stuff. Magical even. hee.

Received a few boxes today from amazon. I haven’t finished Catching Fire yet, but Mockingjay awaits me. And other books, but I won’t list them. Since CF is confined to my computer what I read while away is a Retrievers novel, Burning Bridges. I’m somehow not really in the mood for it. Too much politics and civil unrest, not enough adventure and romance… But I’ll give Laura Anne Gilman the benefit of the doubt and keep reading…

I also received some historical fiction type stuff for Dory. Philippa Gregory. I’m not certain, but I think she’ll like it. Just in case, I also bought her a Christian music cd by various authors, and managed to find music from her favorite singer Eva Cassidy. Cassidy has a beautiful voice, and her music now resides upon my sansa. Along with Christian Kane. I literally bought every song he has sung… so far. I think maybe I coulda done without the one from the Angel soundtrack. His album is better than that one. …Have I mentioned that I love Leverage?

So yeah, I’m ready for Dory’s birthday… and maybe Christmas… at least partially. But her bday isn’t till december. doh. Oh well. I knew it… just felt like buying something for her. Maybe I’ll give her some of it early. Need some writable cds, tho… Oh well. I’m sure I’ll get to it before december. heh.

Sadly I haven’t been able to visit my mom… Since the last day I told dad to go eat without me… and he didn’t come back home until 8pm. Bad dad. But also bad me, because any of these closing days I could have put in a little extra effort and gotten up in the actual morning. But dad’s impatient, and wouldn’t have let me stay long… It would have been something, however.

I really need to find something else that can open m4a audio files. Quicktime just isn’t doing the job. Any internal disruption and I won’t hear a few words. Weird that it’s so sensitive.

And now I need to get to bed. Finished the book at the top a little while ago. Also Bone Crossed. Have I mentioned that I’m reading more?
